Full Grain Leather Bill Tray, Hand Stitched
The bill tray is the one object in the room every guest touches. Vegetable tanned cowhide earns its cost here because it darkens along the handling marks of a year's service instead of peeling. It is saddle stitched with waxed linen, so a single broken thread does not unravel the rest of the line. Edges are hand burnished rather than wrapped, leaving the real leather layer visible from the side.
