Twelve 4.5 cm wells, 1 cm deep, hold square and round bottles steady so nothing goes over like dominoes when a customer takes one from the middle. Each well is felt lined to stop glass bases scuffing white rings into the finish, and the 2 cm gap between wells leaves room for fingers without knocking the neighbours.
